About me

I am passionate about riding and have been in the saddle since I was five years old. I am training full-time with Megan Walker (MWE, Temecula, CA) on my spunky, smart, and brave 5-year-old jumper named Zookeeper (JC-registered). I am also training with Shayne Wireman (Chestnut Hills, Bonsall, CA) and competing in IEA for the first time this year at the novice level, qualifying for Regionals in the Los Angeles region.

My long-term goal is to continue riding in college and compete at the Division I and/or Varsity IHSA level.

This summer, I hope to learn from college coaches to better understand what riding in college is really like. I am excited to improve my riding and horsemanship while being part of a team and experiencing a college equestrian environment. I am also looking forward to meeting other riders my age, making new friends, and building connections with people who share a love for horses just as much as I do.

I hope to ride in college because horses are such a big part of who I am, and I can’t imagine my life without them. I am very passionate about the sport and it is my whole life. Riding challenges me, motivates me, and pushes me to work hard every day, and it is something I truly love. Being able to continue riding while getting an education is very important to me. After college, I hope to pursue a career with horses and continue growing in the sport.
